TSUNDOKU

I was surprised that the Japanese word “Tsundoku” has been used all over the world. Surprisingly, articles about Tsundoku are on BBC news and even Wikipedia!

Tsundoku means piling up books that you have bought but never read. Although you may think it is a bad habit, it is actually good. Just buying books is important because books could go out of print and your money leads to creating the next book for authors. Also, holding books is of benefit to you. You can read it anytime when you want to do, and you unconsciously get inspired by the words of titles because of the Priming effect.
