Coaching and Mentoring

Both mentoring and coaching are essential to professional and individual development. Mentoring is usually a deeper relationship forged over time between a more experienced individual and another, whereas coaching can happen with peers, the line or professional coaches to address specific coaching goals.

In the era of VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity), what do we need to be future proof? Prior experiences may not translate easily, and individuals have to be resilient and rely on their innate potential and strengths to address new problems. Knowing how to access new sources of wisdom and similarly provide support to others in areas of unfamiliarity will be key. How good are you in doing both?
