Meditation on Breath for Mindfulness

1. Sit straight. Close your eyes or open slightly. Breathe naturally.

2. Breathe in slowly. Repeat a word or phrase like “Breathing in” in your mind. Concentrate on your breathing and feel the air coming into your body.

3. Breath out slowly. Repeat a word or phrase like “Breathing in” in your mind and feel the air going out of your body.

4. When some thoughts interrupt your concentration, think of a word like “Thought” to beat them. After you take calm back, say “I’ll be back” in your mind and go back to focusing on breathing.

5. Keep these steps for 10 minutes a day.
